Kel is a Survivor, Author, Transformational and Intuitive Speaker, Results & Trauma Coach.
Kelly Humphries (Kel) was born in Queensland, Australia. She is a survivor of child sexual abuse and speaks from lived experience.
Kel is passionate about breaking cycles of abuse and is a powerful voice for survivors across the world. Her mission is to empower leaders, inspire legacy and promote change.
Her experience as a survivor coupled with her background as a law enforcement professional means she has a unique perspective and knows only too well what it takes to overcome trauma.
Through the long journey to overcome child sexual abuse, Kel has taken a winding path to success. She has dealt with Domestic Violence, CPTSD, Mental Health and learnt to step into her own power to overcome, conquer and turn adversity into a pillar of strength.
Kel is intuitive, dynamic, compassionate, authentic and an absolute powerhouse when it comes to tough conversations and getting to the heart of the issue.
Qualifications
Kel has an international psychology degree, a successful international sporting career, a certification with the John Maxwell team in leadership, a results coach and over 13 years in policing. Kelly has had a career which positions her as one of Australia’s foremost experts in navigating the road from trauma to triumph and recovery.

Kel has won multiple awards including an International Women’s Day award for Courage and Integrity. In 2017, Kel was only one of three Police Officers awarded the QBANK Everyday Hero Award in the category of Excellence.
